Ellendale is a city situated in Dickey County, North Dakota, in the United States. Established in 1882, the city serves as the county seat for Dickey County. As of the 2020 census, the population was recorded at 1,125 residents.
The city is home to Trinity Bible College, which occupies the former campus of the North Dakota State Normal and Industrial School. Additionally, Ellendale features the Ellendale Opera House, a local landmark that is currently undergoing renovation.
