Madison is a city located in Madison County in the state of Mississippi, United States. Situated approximately 13 miles (21 km) north of the state capital, Jackson, it is positioned within the Jackson Metropolitan Statistical Area.
As of the 2020 census, Madison was the 11th most populous city in Mississippi, with a recorded population of 27,747. This figure represents an increase from the 24,149 residents recorded in the 2010 census.
