Henderson is a city located in the state of Kentucky, United States. Situated along the Ohio River, it serves as the county seat of Henderson County. As of the 2020 U.S. census, the city had a population of 29,781.
The city is classified as a home-rule class city under Kentucky law. It is part of the Evansville–Henderson, Indiana–Kentucky Combined Statistical Area, which is commonly referred to locally as the "Tri-State Area." Additionally, Henderson is considered the southernmost suburb of Evansville, Indiana.
