Covington

Covington is a city located in Kenton County, Kentucky, in the United States. Situated at the confluence of the Ohio and Licking rivers, it sits directly across from Cincinnati, Ohio, to the north and Newport to the east. It serves as one of the two seats of government for Kenton County, alongside Independence.

As the largest city in Northern Kentucky, Covington is the fifth-most populous city in the state, with a population of 40,691 recorded in the 2020 census. Under Kentucky law, it is designated as a home-rule class city and is integrated into the Cincinnati metropolitan area.
