Carlisle

Carlisle is a home rule-class city in Nicholas County, Kentucky, and serves as the county seat. Located at the junction of Kentucky Route 32 and Kentucky Route 36, it sits approximately halfway between Lexington and Maysville in the central part of the state.

As of the 2020 census, Carlisle had a population of 2,093, making it a small municipality within the region.
