Marion is a city located in the state of Indiana, United States. Situated along the Mississinewa River, it serves as the county seat of Grant County.
The city was named in honor of Francis Marion, who served as a brigadier general from South Carolina during the American Revolutionary War. As of the 2020 census, the population of Marion was recorded at 28,310.
