Toulon

Toulon is a city in Stark County, Illinois, and serves as the county seat of the region. Located in north-central Illinois, it is part of the Peoria metropolitan area. According to the 2020 census, Toulon had a population of 1,193 residents.

The city is notable as the northwestern terminus of the Rock Island Trail State Park, a recreational corridor in the state. As the county seat, Toulon serves as the administrative center for Stark County government and local legal proceedings.
