Murphy is a census-designated place in the United States and the county seat of Owyhee County, Idaho. It lies within the Boise City–Nampa, Idaho Metropolitan Statistical Area.
With a population of 96 as of the 2020 census, Murphy is among the smallest county seats in the nation. It is also located within the census-designated place that bears its name.
Murphy is home to the Owyhee County Historical Museum and Library.
