Naples is a city located in Collier County in southwestern Florida, United States. As of the 2020 census, the city proper had a population of 19,115, representing a slight decline from the 2010 census count of 19,539. Naples serves as a principal city within the Naples–Marco Island metropolitan area, which encompasses a significantly larger population of approximately 375,752 residents as of 2020.

The city is situated on Florida's Gulf Coast and is known as an upscale residential and tourist destination in the region. Naples has developed as a major economic and cultural hub for southwestern Florida, with the broader metropolitan area serving as an important population center for the state's western coast.
