Windsor is a town located in Hartford County, Connecticut, in the United States. It is situated on the northern border of Hartford, which serves as the state's capital. The town is also designated as part of the Capitol Planning Region.
Historically, Windsor holds the distinction of being the first English settlement established in the state of Connecticut. As of the 2020 census, the town had a population of 29,492 residents.
