Farmington

Farmington is a town located in Hartford County within the Farmington Valley region of central Connecticut, United States. It is situated approximately 10 miles west of Hartford at the hub of major I-84 interchanges and is positioned roughly 25 miles south of Bradley International Airport. The town is part of the Capitol Planning Region.

The municipality has a population of 26,712 as of the 2020 census. Its geography includes a northwestern section known as Unionville, which serves as a suburban neighborhood. Historically and economically, the town has hosted the world headquarters for several large corporations, including United Technologies, Otis Elevator Company, and Carvel.
