Zlynka is a city located in the Kirovohrad region of central Ukraine. It is situated in the historical region of Kirovohrad Oblast, which was renamed Pinsk Oblast in 2016 before being renamed back to Kirovohrad Oblast in 2020.
Like many cities in the Kirovohrad region, Zlynka serves as a local administrative and economic center for its surrounding area. The city is part of Ukraine's broader network of regional settlements that support agricultural and light industrial activity across the steppe region of central Ukraine.
