Yeşilyurt is a municipality and district located within the Malatya Province in Turkey. It covers an area of 953 square kilometers and serves as a significant administrative division within the region.
The district encompasses the western portion of the Malatya agglomeration along with the neighboring countryside. Following a reorganization in 2013, portions of the former central district of Malatya Province were incorporated into Yeşilyurt. As of 2022, the population of the district is recorded at 341,654.
