Yeşilhisar is a municipality and district located in Kayseri Province in central Turkey. The town covers an area of 913 square kilometers and had a population of 15,531 as of 2022. It was formerly known as Kbistra in historical records.

The district serves as an administrative subdivision of Kayseri Province, situated in the Cappadocia region of Anatolia. Like many towns in the area, Yeşilhisar reflects the region's historical significance as a crossroads of trade and culture between Europe and Asia.
