Pınarbaşı is a town in Kastamonu Province, in the Black Sea region of Turkey. It is the seat of Pınarbaşı District. The town was formerly known as Tekkeşin.
Its population was recorded as 2,477 in 2021. As the administrative centre of its district, the town hosts the local government institutions serving the surrounding area.
