Göynük is a town in Bolu Province in the Black Sea region of Turkey. It is the seat of Göynük District, and its population was 4,376 in 2021.
The town is surrounded by several neighbouring districts: Mudurnu to the north-east, Nallıhan to the south-east, Sarıcakaya to the south, Yenipazar to the south-west, Taraklı to the west and Akyazı to the north-west.
Göynük's mayor is Ahmet Çankaya of the MHP, who was elected in 2019.
