Santo António, also known as Santo António do Príncipe, is the main settlement and capital of the Autonomous Region of Príncipe in São Tomé and Príncipe. Located on the northeast coast of the island of Príncipe, it is home to approximately 2,620 residents according to 2012 census data, representing about 35% of the island's total population.
The town is notable for its colonial architecture and its religious heritage, particularly the Church of Our Lady of the Conception and the Church of Our Lady of the Rosary. Santo António is also known for the Auto das Floripes, a traditional play performed by local residents that reflects the cultural traditions of the island.
