Samtah is a town and sub-division in Jizan Province, in southwestern Saudi Arabia. It is located in the Jazan Region, the country's southernmost province, which borders the Red Sea to the west and Yemen to the south and east.
The town serves as the administrative centre of its sub-division, one of the local divisions through which Jizan Province is organised. As with other settlements in the region, it lies within a coastal and lowland area known for its hot, humid climate and agricultural activity.
Samtah is not to be confused with other places of similar name. Details of its population, history and economy are limited in the available source material.
