Gitesi is a sector located within the Karongi district of Rwanda's Western Province. As of 2012, the area had a recorded population of 24,859 residents.
The region is characterized by its agricultural production, specifically featuring numerous plantations of coffee and tea. Notably, the sector includes the Gasenyi area within the Rwariro cell, which houses the Karongi tea factory.
