Vidra is a commune in the south of Ilfov County, in the Muntenia region of Romania. It lies within the historical region of Wallachia, south of Bucharest, and is part of the wider Ilfov area surrounding the capital.
The commune is made up of three villages: Crețești, Sintești, and Vidra. The name Vidra means "otter" in Romanian.
