Vidra is a commune situated in Vrancea County, located within the southern part of Romania. It serves as a local administrative center for its surrounding rural area.
The territory of the commune is composed of nine distinct villages: Burca, Irești, Ruget, Scafari, Șerbești, Tichiriș, Vidra, Viișoara, and Voloșcani.
