Băbeni is a town in Vâlcea County, Romania. It is situated in the historical region of Oltenia, in the south of the country.
The town was elevated to town status in 2002. It administers six villages: Bonciu, Capu Dealului, Pădurețu, Români, Tătărani, and Valea Mare.
