Baia is a commune located in Suceava County within the historical region of Western Moldavia in northeastern Romania. It is situated along the Moldova River and was recognized as one of the earliest urban settlements in the Moldavia region.
The commune consists of two villages: Baia and Bogata. As of 2021, the population of the area was recorded at 7,261 residents.
