Mănești is a commune located in Prahova County within the Muntenia region of Romania. The administrative area consists of five distinct villages: Băltița, Coada Izvorului, Gura Crivățului, Mănești, and Zalhanaua.
The territory of the commune was historically larger; however, it underwent a territorial change in 2004. During this time, eight other villages were split off from Mănești to form the separate Cocorăștii Colț Commune.
