Căzănești is a town in Ialomița County, in the Muntenia region of Romania. It lies on the left bank of the river Ialomița, about 30 km (19 mi) west of the county seat, Slobozia.
The town is crossed by the national road DN2A, which connects Urziceni with Constanța. Its position on this route and on the Ialomița river places it within the road and river network of the surrounding plain.
