Sadova is a commune in Dolj County, in the Oltenia region of Romania. It is made up of two villages, Piscu Sadovei and Sadova.
The commune lies in southern Romania, within Dolj County, whose administrative centre is the city of Craiova. Oltenia is the historical region covering the western part of the country's southern lowlands, bordered by the Danube to the south.
As a commune, Sadova is one of the basic units of local administration in Romania, comprising its two component villages under a single communal government.
