Victoria

Romania

Victoria is a city in Brăila County, in the Muntenia region of Romania. It is one of the smaller urban settlements in the county and serves as a local administrative and economic centre for the surrounding rural area.

The city lies in the eastern part of the country, within the historical region of Muntenia. Like much of Brăila County, the surrounding landscape is part of the lower Danube plain, an area characterised by flat terrain and agricultural use.

Victoria is not to be confused with the town of the same name in Brașov County, Transylvania, which is a separate settlement located in the western part of that county and had a population of 6,446 at the 2021 census.
