Parang is a city located in the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) in the southern Philippines. It is situated in Maguindanao province on the island of Mindanao.
The city serves as a local administrative and commercial center for the surrounding region. Like other municipalities in ARMM, Parang has a predominantly Muslim population and operates under the autonomous regional government structure established for Muslim-majority areas of the Philippines.
