Medellin is a municipality located in Cebu province in the Central Visayas region of the Philippines. It is situated in the northern part of Cebu island.
The municipality is a coastal community with fishing and agriculture as primary economic activities for its residents. Like other municipalities in Cebu, Medellin has a tropical climate typical of the Visayas region.
