Cadiz, officially the City of Cadiz, is a component city located in Negros Occidental in the Western Visayas region of the Philippines. The city is situated on the island of Negros.
Historically, Cadiz served as the capital of Negros del Norte, a short-lived province that was created but subsequently declared unconstitutional on August 18, 1986. Following this constitutional ruling, the city reverted to its status as part of Negros Occidental.
