Punta Hermosa

Peru

Punta Hermosa is a district of the Lima Province in Peru, one of the 43 districts that make up the province. Its capital is the village of Punta Hermosa, from which the district takes its name.

The district lies within the Lima region on Peru's central coast, south of the city of Lima. As part of the Lima Province, it forms one of the provincial subdivisions that together constitute the metropolitan area centred on the national capital.

Punta Hermosa's main attractions are its beaches, which are the feature for which the district is chiefly known.
