Chaclacayo is a district of the Lima Province in Peru, located in the Lima region. It lies east of the city of Lima along the Carretera Central, the main highway that connects the capital with the central interior of the country.
Together with Chosica, Chaclacayo serves as the natural exit district toward Central Peru. Its position on the Carretera Central makes it part of the route through which traffic and travel from Lima pass eastward into the Andean interior.
