Querco

Peru

Querco is a remote town in Peru and the capital of Querco District. The district belongs to the Huaytará province, which lies within the Huancavelica region of the country.

Because of its remote setting, Querco is a small and isolated settlement rather than a major urban centre. Its residents keep livestock, including bulls, cattle, sheep, pigs, ducks, and dogs, which reflects the area's rural, agricultural character.
