Lamay

Peru

Lamay is a district in the Calca Province of the Cuzco Department in Peru. It is one of eight districts that make up Calca Province, located in the Sacred Valley region of the southern Peruvian Andes.

The district lies in the Andean highlands of south-central Peru, within the same department as the city of Cuzco. Like other districts of Calca Province, it forms part of the broader Sacred Valley area, a corridor of Andean communities situated along the Urubamba River between Cuzco and Machu Picchu.

Lamay is primarily known for its administrative status as a district within Calca Province. Detailed information about its population, elevation, economy, and attractions is limited in available sources, and the district remains less documented than larger settlements in the same valley.
