Longar is a district in Peru, located in the province of Rodríguez de Mendoza. The province lies within the Amazonas region, in the country's north. Longar is one of twelve districts that make up Rodríguez de Mendoza Province.
As a district rather than a city in its own right, Longar forms part of the local administrative structure of the province, alongside the other eleven districts. The district's setting within the Amazonas region places it in Peru's northern Amazonian territory, a zone characterised by its Andean-forested transition landscapes.
Detailed information about Longar's population, economy, and specific attractions is limited in the available source material. Travellers seeking comprehensive guidance on the district should consult regional authorities or more detailed local references.
