El Porvenir, currently known as Gaigirgordub since July 1, 2016, serves as the capital of the Guna Yala indigenous comarca in Panama. It is situated on a small island within the region.
The settlement features essential infrastructure including a landing strip, government offices, and a hotel. Additionally, the area contains an artisans' cooperative, a museum, and a small beach.
