Khasab

Oman

Khasab is a town located in the Musandam Governorate of Oman. It serves as the capital of this region, which functions as an exclave of Oman situated at the tip of the Musandam Peninsula by the Strait of Hormuz. The area shares a border with the United Arab Emirates.

The town and its surrounding landscape are characterized by desolate mountainscapes and extensive fjord-like craggy inlets. Due to these distinct geographical features, Khasab has been referred to as the "Norway of Arabia."
