Paraparaumu is a town situated in the south-western North Island of New Zealand. Located along the Kāpiti Coast, the settlement sits approximately 51 kilometres (32 mi) north of Wellington, the nation's capital city.
The town is known locally by residents as Pram or Paraparam.
