Vik is the administrative centre of Sømna Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. It is a village rather than a city, and it serves as the seat of the municipal administration for Sømna.
The village lies along Norwegian County Road 17, about 8 kilometres (5.0 mi) south of the village of Berg. This places it on the Helgeland coast of Nordland, in the southern part of the county.
Vik's local church, Sømna Church, was built in 1876. The church is the most notable landmark recorded for the village.
