Nhamatanda is a town located in the Sofala Province of Mozambique. It serves as the administrative center for the Nhamatanda District.
The town is situated along the Beira Corridor, a major transport route connecting Harare, Zimbabwe, to Beira, which is the second-largest city in Mozambique. In March 2019, the area was largely destroyed by the impact of Cyclone Idai.
