Lae Atoll is a coral atoll comprising 20 islands located in the Ralik Chain of the Marshall Islands in the Pacific Ocean. The atoll is situated approximately 47 kilometers east of Ujae Atoll and forms its own legislative district within the Marshall Islands. Despite its small land area of only 1.5 square kilometers (0.58 square miles), Lae Atoll encloses a substantial lagoon with an area of 17.7 square kilometers (6.8 square miles).
The atoll's population was 133 residents as of 2021. Its named islands include Lae, Looj (also spelled Lotj), Bilalalon, Riblong (also spelled Ribon), and Lweijab (also spelled Lejab). Like other atolls in the Marshall Islands, Lae Atoll's economy and infrastructure are shaped by its remote island location and limited land resources.
