Sigulda is a town and the administrative center of Sigulda Municipality located in the Vidzeme region of Latvia. Situated approximately 53 kilometers from the capital city of Riga, it serves as an important tourist center for the country.
The territory of the municipality includes the ancient centers of Turaida and Krimulda. As of early 2024, Sigulda had a population of 14,632 inhabitants, making it the 15th largest settlement in Latvia.
