Pakxong (also spelled Paksong) is a city in Champasak Province in southern Laos. It is the capital of Paksong District and sits on the Bolaven Plateau, a highland region in the country's south.
The city is known for its coffee exports, which form the basis of its local economy. The surrounding plateau area is associated with coffee cultivation, and Pakxong serves as a centre for that trade.
