Dongnae is a district (gu) in central Busan, South Korea. It is one of the administrative divisions of Busan, a major port city on the southeastern coast of the country.
Dongnae sits inland from the Busan coastline, in the central part of the city. As a gu, it forms part of the municipal structure of Busan, which is one of South Korea's largest urban centres.
Historically, Dongnae was a significant local centre in its own right before its incorporation into the modern city of Busan. Today it is known as a residential and administrative district within the Busan metropolitan area.
