Nanyō is a city located in the Yamagata Prefecture of Japan. It covers a total land area of 160.52 square kilometers, which is equivalent to approximately 62 square miles.
As of March 1, 2020, the city had an estimated population of 31,112 residents living in 11,379 households. The population density of the area is recorded at 190 persons per square kilometer.
