Kushimoto is a coastal town in Higashimuro District, Wakayama Prefecture, Japan. It lies on the coast of the Kii Peninsula in the Wakayama region, and its total area is 135.67 square kilometres (52.38 square miles).
As of 30 November 2021, the town had an estimated population of 15,192, living in 8,354 households, with a population density of 110 persons per square kilometre.
