Himi

Himi is a city located in the western part of Toyama Prefecture in Japan. It was officially established as a city on August 1, 1952. The municipality covers a total area of 230.56 square kilometers (89.02 sq mi).

The city is primarily recognized for its commercial fishing industry. As of March 1, 2018, Himi had an estimated population of 48,275 people living in 17,632 households, resulting in a population density of 210 persons per square kilometer.
