Kurayoshi is a city situated in the central part of Tottori Prefecture in Japan. As of December 31, 2021, the city encompassed an area of 272.06 square kilometers with a population of approximately 44,969 people across 20,609 households.
The city is characterized by its historic atmosphere, featuring preserved streets from the Edo period that have earned it a reputation for having a "Kyoto-like" character. It is located within Tottori Prefecture, which is recognized as the least populated prefecture in Japan.
