Kashima is a city situated in the southern region of Saga Prefecture on the island of Kyushu, Japan. It covers a total area of 112.12 km² (43.29 sq mi).
As of May 31, 2024, the city had an estimated population of 27,360 residents living in 10,949 households. The area maintains a population density of approximately 240 persons per km².
