Kawaminami is a town in Koyu District, Miyazaki Prefecture, Japan. It is located in the Miyazaki region on the island of Kyushu.
As of 1 September 2023, the town had an estimated population of 14,647 living in 6,075 households, giving a population density of about 160 persons per square kilometre. The total area of the town is 145.96 square kilometres (56.36 square miles).
